A Beautiful Friday! This morning, the Merri Mac campers woke up to a beautiful and sunny August day! Today’s breakfast included delicious homemade biscuits with sausage and eggs. After breakfast announcements, the girls headed to Chapel where they all sang so beautifully. During morning activities, girls in knitting are continuing working on their projects, and. Camp Merryelande is a family-oriented beach campground with waterfront cottages located in St. George Island, Maryland. We have been in business since 1984 and have seen many family generations come and enjoy their vacation here in our campground. All our cottages are on the beach or have beautiful views of the beach and river. Camp songs were sung on the bus to and from camp (it was a day camp) and my biggest regret was that my sister and I were the next to last stop before we got to camp! So we were almost the last on the bus and first off in the afternoon. This ensemble-based camp has limited capacity due to Covid restrictions and the music arrangements, only a certain number of vocalists and each instrument type will be able to participate in the camp. Campers will receive group and individual instruction time as they work on mastering repertoire from “The Great American Songbook”. Located in the beautiful Berkshire Mountains of Massachusetts, Shine Theatre Arts Project is an exciting new summer arts intensive that features voice, dance and acting training, along with rock band experience and on-camera TV studio, sports and fun activities!
